Linings for drive sheaves
in shaft hoists
BECORIT - Drive sheave linings are standing for safety and economic efficiency even at high loaded winding engines. This also holds for all adverse influences like wetness, faulting, rope grease, overload etc. In addition to this, the linings have to interact with all the cable types in operation, regardless of whether these are round-strand, flattened strand, triangular strand cables or cables as full locked coil wire ropes.

Linings for head and
deflector sheaves
BECORIT - Linings for cable guide wheels in quality BECOPLAST guarantee a gentle guiding of the ropes on reason of low friction value. During this process, the cable rotates around its own axis. This rotation must on no account be prevented since otherwise twisting would occur in the cable.
This serves, on the one hand, to reduce wear and tear of the pulley, while on the other hand, to allow the cable the freedom of movement it requires. It just so happens that the lifespan of the cable is increased as well.

Brake blocks for shaft hoists
BECORIT - Brake blocks are operating for many decades. They have proved themselves in the most various winding engines. and stay for reliability and long lifespan.
In different design they are able to be used in disc brakes as well as in big shoe brakes. For calculation of brakes for winding engines you can use the coefficient of fricton µ = 0,4 as minimum.

Brake pads for overhead
monorail systems
BECORIT - Brake pads in sinter quality find their use in underground operations in the braking devices of overhead monorail locs. The BECOSINT - standard brake pads are in operation for many years and distinguish themselves by success and robustness, in which the friction value is on a very high level and guarantees the demanded braking force.

Friction wheels for overhead
monorail systems
BECORIT - Friction wheels are in operation mainly in underground sectors of mining. Here high traction is demanded from the drive units of the locomotives. BECOLAN friction wheels ensure that the driving torque sits securely on the rail. BECOLAN, which was specially developed for this particular application, ensures the achievement of friction-tightness.
The diversity of possibilities available in the designs of friction wheels means that they can be adapted to fit the type of machine in question in any application. As a result , it is possible to equip both large machines, such as diesel or battery-driven locomotives, as well as smaller shunting trolleys.
By developing an appropriate design and geometry of the friction wheel lining, it is possible to achieve an optimum transmission of drive torque and thus ensure a high service quality and long working life of the wheels.
In many tests there was found an optimal tread what makes possible to give a high standard of safety to the transportation in underground sectors, even on wet rails.
